Yoga in a natural space

Have you ever practised yoga outdoors, off the mat? We go to the woods, hills or beach and practise with the land, sand, trees, rocks, waves - no mats or equipment needed.

Why practise outside?

Being outdoors connects us more to ourselves and the practice, away from the usual distractions and pressures. Just the interaction between body, land and elements.

It’s both fun and challenging to adapt yoga to a different environment. We let go of expectations, begin to play and experiment. Truly awake new physical connections, get out of ingrained habits and see the practical application of yoga.

Taking 1-1 classes is a fast, effective way to make progress - not just in nailing yoga poses but in resolving physical niggles and getting your questions answered. This is for you if you have a specific issue that some dedicated attention can help you get a breakthrough with. 

It could also be for you if you’re unable to get to a yoga class regularly and you want to develop a solid home practice you know you can rely on. In just one session we can create a customized sequence for you to do independently and you’ll have a recording to re-watch any time you like.

Athlete’s Yoga

Specialized yoga for people who train hard

Build strong balanced muscles, increase your joint mobility, stretch out and get rid of tension. Feel the difference when you take this conditioning into your sport.

Definitely for you if you experience any of the following:

Stiff, tight or sore muscles after exercise

Niggles that come and go, like knee, ankle or hip pain

Recurring mild injuries like ITB Syndrome or shin splints

Confusion about stretching and/or improving your muscle tone and joint mobility!

Or if you just want a yoga class that understands and focuses on your particular needs as an athlete. This class will focus on the physical rather than the spiritual so there will be no classical meditation or mantra practise.

Cancellation policy: if you need to cancel a booking please let me know at least 48 hours in advance for a refund or booking transfer. In case of very bad weather conditions a session may be re-scheduled or cancelled - but we’re out in pretty much all weathers!
